The final illustration assignment of the term, and the culmination of everything we'd learned. The assignment was to make an editorial piece to reflect a story in a newspaper. I had recently read about the number of cyclist fatalities in Ottawa and decided that would be my theme.
I went all out on this one, it took me about 15 hours I think, maybe more. One looses track of time when hunched over a desk with a pencil. The small details on the bike were a killer, as were the spokes, but it paid off in the end. Definitely the best pencil work I've ever done.
