Catherine Anne Beddall Here's the third entry in my sibling painting series, my other sister Cathy, and the second oldest of the Beddall children, meaning that there's one more painting to go (me, the oldest) before I'm finished. Skin tones! Getting easier for me, but eyes, noses, and mouths remain extremely difficult, not to mention hair. A pointer to any upcoming artists out there who want to do portrait paintings, the secret is extreme attention to detail!!! Seriously, you have no idea how much a person's face can change by making the eyes a little bit lower down, or the mouth a millimeter bigger, etc.
